It's Been Awhile... Again

I don't know what my deal is but lately I am having a hard time keeping up on my blog! My sweet little boy is now 10 months... time sure flies when you are having fun!
I will give a little update of our last month... It seems like March came and went so fast... we were busy! We had a fabulous St. Patricks Day Wedding, pictures will come! TJ and I then took off for Phoenix for our annual Spring Training Trip! We left the little man at home and we missed him like crazy, next year we may need to cut out a day so we don't have to leave him as long! I will post pictures of this later on too!

This is Troy the Buster with his Grandpa and Grandma while we were in Phoenix... He was spoiled with a lot of new clothes. Thanks Grandma!

Watching TJ's softball tournament on Saturday, it was very very windy... and Buster was such a good boy! 

9 Months

I know that it is completely unacceptable that I haven't updated this in over a month! We have had ALOT going on! Buster is now 9 months old. He standing up on anything he can reach to pull himself up, he takes a few steps here and there but has not quite taken off on his own yet!

At his 9 month check-up he weighed 19 lbs. 8 oz, he was 27 3/4 inches tall. Those both put him in the 30th percentile. His head on the other hand was in the 75th percentile! Hopefully he will grow into it!

His first pair of skinny jeans! And don't worry he has had his first hair cut since this pic was taken.

Now that he can stand in his crib, he falls asleep in the weirdest positions!

We have yet to find a food he will not eat!

8 Months

I cannot believe it has been 8 months already! Yes... it's true my baby boy is 8 months today! Here are a couple pics from the day!

He decided that today would be a good day to crawl, yay! It wasn't a full crawl but it was better than an army crawl! Here is a little video I took!

Some of his favorites at 8 months are.,, 

Saying "Hi Dad!" (we know he doesn't know what he is saying but he

says this all day long, and it is as clear as can be!

Playing with his toy hippo... it bounces up a bunch of balls and he just loves it!

Laughing all day long! Today he was laughing at a little boy running

down the isles at the grocery store!

We still have yet to find a food he will not eat! I am sure this

will change but for now he is a great eater!

Playing Peek-a-Boo... he puts the blanket up over his face and everything! He

especially loves doing this when he first wakes up in the morning!

St. George Weekend

Over this last weekend we left Troy with his Grandma Henderson and headed down South for a little warmer weather and sunshine! It was fun to get away for a few days with Trent and Rach, the Parlett's, and the soon to be Riley's! We all stayed at our condo at the Ridge, the boys were in the Superbowl Softball Tournament, their first game was Friday night at 7 pm... And man was it cold! We took every blanket we could find and bundled up!

The rest of the weekend was full of more softball, tennis, the guys went golfing a couple times, and of course us girls went and did a little shopping!

Buster's Teeth

Finally... a picture of my 7 and a half month olds teeth! He absolutely hates when we touch his face and nose so I have not been able to get a good picture. His first tooth came in on Christmas and we noticed a week ago his second came in!

Here are a couple other 7 months pics of my little buddy! He now only wants to feed himself, he sometimes will refuse to eat unless he is doing it!

His favorite time of the day is bath time! I think he would sit and play with toys in the bath for hours if we let him!

Some Sort of Normal...

I finally feel like I have got back to somewhat of a normal routine! I am not sure why it has taken me so long. I guess there were just so many changes in the last year that it took me a while to figure it all out! I finally think I have a handle on things! I am back to my healthy eating and working out regularly, working part time for Zimmer, working for my new little business re-doing furniture "Done Over Decor", house duties, and most of all being a Mom and a wife! I am loving every minute of our busy lives!!!

Buster is now 7 months old I cannot believe it! He is growing and learning so fast, he stil,l however refuses to crawl! He is probably the fastest rolling baby I have seen! His new favorite thing to do right now is clapping, his Grandma taught him that not too long ago and he has picked up on it quick!

Here is the latest at our house!

I got our Christmas decorations put away at the first of the month. I just had to share my adorable tree skirt I made, the best part, it's a no sew tree skirt! I pinned this on Pinterest from my Done Over Decor blog, and I couldn't believe how many people loved it! I had over 60,000 hits on my blog in 3 days... it was awesome!

This is Buster playing at his Grandpa and Grandma's on Sunday. And that is his new H&M shirt is Aunt Hadley gave him. It is still a little too big, but I love it!

I finally found and finished my new entryway table! I have been looking for the perfect piece to go in our entryway and couldn't find one, so what else do you do... make one! This was an old Lane Cedar Chest that I added legs to. I painted it cream and distressed it, I couldn't be happier!

I love seeing this sweet face every morning! He looks so big sitting at the table having his breakfast. This was Saturday morning and I made pancakes and then put my favorite toppings on... peanut butter, syrup, and powdered sugar! Yum! He absolutely loved it!

SNoW

Well, we finally had our first big real snow storm yesterday! We were told it would just be snow flurries in the valley but woke up to a big surprise, we had a good few inches covering the ground!

This was the extent of Dutchess's outside adventures! She didn't leave the front walkway, she is not a big fan of the winter! She opted to do this all day instead...

She might be one of the most spoiled dogs I know!

Around 11 my Mom, sisters, and I went out wedding dress shopping with Hads! She had seen a dress she absolutely loved online at David's Bridal, she called around the night before trying to find one for her to try on. Turned out the Layton store had one in a size 0, we were all crossing our fingers that it fit and that she liked it as much as she did when she saw it online. 

Turns out it was perfect! She looked absolutely stunning, it fit her perfectly! {Sorry I can't post pictures until the wedding!} To celebrate getting her dress we all went to Zupas for lunch and then did a little more shopping! It was a fun day!
